The PosiTector 6000MP Series Coating Thickness Gauge is a versatile tester for accurate and quick measurement of thickness of paint and coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
The models 6000-F0S1, 6000-F0S2 and 6000-F0S3 are coating thickness gauges suitable for measurement of coatings on ferrous metals and are capable of measuring non-magnetic coatings such as, varnish, paint, chrome, copper, zinc, etc. on steel and iron (magnetic induction method).
The models 6000-N0S1, 6000-N0S2 and 6000-N0S3 are coating thickness gauges suitable for measurement of coatings on non-ferrous metals and are designed to measure all electrically insulated coatings such as varnish, paint, anodizing coatings on non-ferrous metals & stainless steel (eddy-current principle).
Besides the standard probe, the PosiTector Micro Probe Coating Thickness Gauges are also available with a micro 45 degree and a micro 90 degree probe.
All PosiTector models are offered in three possible configurations; BASIC (1), STANDARD (2) and MEMORY (3) permitting users to select the feature set most suitable for their application. Refer to table below summarizing the different features included with each type "1", "2" or "3".
The STANDARD (2) and MEMORY (3) models are equipped with a USB output for data transfer to a PC.
Furthermore the MEMORY (3) model has a Bluetooth interface for wireless data transfer to a PC. For PC's that are not equipped with a Bluetooth interface a separate Bluetooth Dongle is available.

The MEMORY (3) model 6000 series is equipped with Bluetooth technology to wirelessly transmit readings from your gauge to a Bluetooth compatible device up to 10m (33 feet).
