PosiTector 6000TCX PosiTector Extra Thick Coating Model
The PosiTector 6000TCX Coating Thickness Gauge is a versatile tester for accurate and quick measurement of thickness of paint and coatings on ferrous or non-ferrous metals. For typical paint and coating applications with a thickness range of 0 - 13 mm (0 - 500 mils).

The models 6000-FKS1, 6000-FKS2 and 6000-FKS3 are coating thickness gauges suitable for measurement of coatings on ferrous metals and are capable of measuring non-magnetic coatings such as, varnish, paint, chrome, copper, zinc, etc. on steel and iron (magnetic induction method).
The models 6000-NKS1, 6000-NKS2 and 6000-NKS3 are coating thickness gauges suitable for measurement of coatings on non-ferrous metals and are designed to measure all electrically insulated coatings such as varnish, paint, anodizing coatings on non-ferrous metals & stainless steel (eddy-current principle).
All PosiTector models are offered in three possible configurations; BASIC (1), STANDARD (2) and MEMORY (3) permitting users to select the feature set most suitable for their application. Refer to table below summarizing the different features included with each type "1", "2" or "3".
The STANDARD (2) and MEMORY (3) models are equipped with a USB output for data transfer to a PC.
Furthermore the MEMORY (3) model has a Bluetooth interface for wireless data transfer to a PC. For PC's that are not equipped with a Bluetooth interface a separate Bluetooth Dongle is available.

The MEMORY (3) model 6000 series is equipped with Bluetooth technology to wirelessly transmit readings from your gauge to a Bluetooth compatible device up to 10m (33 feet).
The 6000TCX is delivered as a complete kit including:
