Our biomass moisture meters are very accurate measuring instuments to determine the water content of materials used in the bio energy industry. The models BM and BM2 have a 13 liter stainless steel resevoir to enable very accurate measurement of moisture content of a wide range of biomass materials. The BM and BM2 work with an electric field that is affected by water in the material. This method allows very accurate water content calculation. The BM2 has some additional features to the model BM, it has a USB output to and comes with software for data processing.
The BP1 was especially designed and calibrated to measure content moisture content of wood pellets, elephant grass and others. It has a smaller resevoir and can measure moisture levels up to 20% using the same principle as the BM and BM2.
