The PosiTector 6000TC Series Coating Thickness Gauge is a versatile tester for accurate and quick measurement of thickness of paint and coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. For typical paint and coating applicatinos with a thickness range of 0 - 6 mm (0 - 250 mils).

PosiTector 6000-FTS - Ferrous models PosiTector 6000-FNTS - Combination of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous models
The models 6000-FTS1, 6000-FTS2 and 6000-FTS3 are coating thickness gauges suitable for measurement of coatings on ferrous metals and are capable of measuring non-magnetic coatings such as, varnish, paint, chrome, copper, zinc, etc. on steel and iron (magnetic induction method).
Models for use on both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous substrates include 6000-FNTS1, 6000-FNTS2 and 6000-FNTS3.
All PosiTector models are offered in three possible configurations; BASIC (1), STANDARD (2) and MEMORY (3) permitting users to select the feature set most suitable for their application. Refer to table below summarizing the different features included with each type "1", "2" or "3".
The STANDARD (2) and MEMORY (3) models are equipped with a USB output for data transfer to a PC.
Furthermore the MEMORY (3) model has a Bluetooth interface for wireless data transfer to a PC. For PC's that are not equipped with a Bluetooth interface a separate Bluetooth Dongle is available.

The MEMORY (3) model 6000 series is equipped with Bluetooth technology to wirelessly transmit readings from your gauge to a Bluetooth compatible device up to 10m (33 feet).
The 6000TC is delivered as a complete kit including:
