Multi-Scale Durometer |
The Checkline RD-MS1-1600 is ideal for the technician that must perform hardness tests on various types of non-metallic materials. Checkline Europe introduces the Multi-Scale durometer test kit.
The Multi-Scale base kit consists of a RD-1600-A durometer, and your choice of one or more color-coded barrel adapters for B, C, D, DO, OO, OOO or E scales (each durometer barrel sold separately).
Changing scales is accomplished by unscrewing one barrel and replacing it with another - no supplementary calibration or adjustments are necessary.
A test block, calibrated to the selected scale is also included. The block allows the user to perform quick functional checks on the instrument.
The indicator and barrels are calibrated to the ASTM-D2240 standard for durometer hardness testers.

We offer a complete line of durometer test stands. The stand, when used in conjunction with a Durometer, eliminates operator error sometimes associated with hand-held durometer testing. Our stands feature a load weight for the proper testing pressure as noted in ASTM D2240, and a quick-lock column for easy adjustment. Click here for more info on Durometer Test Stands.

RX-MS can be supplied as a complete kit, with a type A scale barrel and all other scales. Supplied in a hard shell carrying case including instruction manual, durometer test block.
It is also possible to compose your own kit. The Multi-Scale Durometer Type A has to be included in this kit and a selection of the barrel adapters can be made.
The kit will also be delivered with a RD-DIN-FA adapter and a test block.
