Asker / JIS Type Durometers |
The Asker Type durometers conform to Asker / JIS specifications. Analog and Digital Models available.
They are designed to measure the indentation hardness of rubber, plastics and other materials.
Contrary to the Asker Type C and JA the Type F durometer has a larger foot which allows the user to perform measurements directly on the material. Type F is primarily used to check the hardness of polystyrene foam.
