It is suitable for non-contact RPM measurements and for observation of fast, repeated motions of machines, their moving components or handled materials, at which the observer receives the subjective impression, that the object stands still.

The DS-120K housing is designed for maximum protection against splashing liquids and high-humidity conditions making it suitable for use in tough applications such as paper manufacturing, steel mils, textile mills and more.

Owing to its very wide frequency range and its adjustable flash length, it can be utilized in many various fields, where fast motions should be visualized (e.g. vibrations). With the multiplier/divider function, the actual RPM or frequency of the motion can be determined accurately. The phase shift function enables slow-motion effects and visual positioning of the observed component.
